Guys, it has been confirmed! The Resident Evil 2 game originally released on PS1 will be remade by Capcom? Excited much? Me too! Hope that it will be released on all gaming platforms! We'll keep you posted.
It is now the golden age for game remakes or remasters. And why not? Remaking games isn’t like remaking movies. You don’t have to re-write a new script or get a whole new cast. You just have to rebuild, reskin, redevelop on the old foundations.
As hardware changes, graphics get better, audio gets more "surroundier" - but what made a game good in the 80's still makes it good in 2015. Gameplay is what makes a game great.
But I really want developers to remake is "Gun Smoke. Published by Capcom, it's a Kickass game with kickass music. This game will remind you of the Sunset Riders and the Ikari Warriors.
